G-Petershill LP (“PHP”, the “firm”, or “Petershill”) is a UK-based global alternative investment firm focused on acquiring and managing non-controlling economic interests in alternative asset managers (“Partner-firms”). The Petershill platform has operated as part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“GSAM”) since 2007. PHP completed an IPO in October 2021, establishing a permanent capital base to support investments in Partner-firms and other growth initiatives.
In December 2025, PHP completed a $921 million return of capital to public shareholders and delisted from the London Stock Exchange. Following cancellation of the approximately 20% public ownership, long-dated private funds managed by GSAM, which previously owned approximately 80% of PHP, became the owners of all of the firm. PHP continues to be operated by GSAM.
